If #gold is not store of value .. assuming #bitcoin takes that function .. is there any reason to mine more #gold ?

Wouldn't then gold be fixed supply just like #bitcoin ?

Tip - we have more gold sitting in vaults to meet all our jewellery needs if that is even a thing !

To put things in perspective - #google is planning to spend 75 billion on #AI #Strategty 's total investment in #bitcoin is 36 billion .. Can #AI be free ? Or run on as supported model of #Meta or #Google #askNostr Wouldn't it cost more than #bitcoin in dollar terms
